An Inspiring Story

Our Purpose

Grace Works' grant-funded generosity allowed Grace Community Services to launch the INSPIRE Program for ten students from Jersey City, New Jersey, during the 2019-2020 school year.

These students, who come from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and possess leadership skills, have been given the opportunity to excel in life.

The INSPIRE Program provides a year-round support network for these students from 6th grade through college. The program offers one-on-one tutoring and enrichment programming to help them achieve their academic goals. Moreover, vocational field trips provide exposure to a range of careers and life skills. Our purpose is to invest in our students who are the future leaders and changemakers of tomorrow by providing critical and fundamental support in both the academic and social development spaces. For example, our personalized tutoring and support have significantly impacted students' grades. Despite the pandemic posing challenges to our students, tutoring continues to be a beacon of hope. Even during virtual learning, INSPIRE's dedication to student success never wavered. By the end of summer, students had not only persevered but thrived, showcasing the power of individualized support.

Through the INSPIRE Program, we aim to ignite critical thinking and leadership skills in our students. We are fully committing to broadening their horizons and giving them a better understanding of what they can achieve.
